Norton has finally released the details of its Superb V4 RR superbike. The beautiful polished tube frame houses a 1200cc 200+ horsepower V4 engine with the latest electronics. And along with many special features, there’s carbon everywhere from the fairing to the fuel tank and rims.

The V angle of the 1200cc engine is 72 degrees and despite the fact that the displacement is 200cc extra, Norton engineers managed to keep it at 1000cc from the Aprilia profile. Chain-driven cams keep it vertically compact, while titanium intake valves keep weight down for better high-rpm performance. It’s fully pass-through, enabling Euro IV compliance. Multi-mode throttle mapping and interfacing with a six-axis Bosch IMU. It provides traction control, wheel control, launch control, cruise control, and total loss of gut control. unprepared.

Output is rated at 200 horsepower and a massive 95 ft-lb (149 kW, 129 Nm) of torque. With a dry weight of just 179kg (395lbs), it’ll do just fine. The frame is a beautiful, polished aluminum twin-tube special with lines that will spark a memory in anyone.  Familiar with the custom Spondon frame for streetfighters and sportbikes – Norton now owns the Derby-based company. The chassis features an adjustable swingarm pivot and steering rake angle. Allowing super picky racers to make minor adjustments to the chassis dynamics. As well as play around with Ohlins NIX30 upper fork clickers and a custom TTXGP shock.

2023 Norton V4SV price is £28,000 — that’s $34,795 — and wants every moment you spend with it to remind you what a premium experience you’re getting. As such, the place is littered with luxurious touches.

The rear camera is powered by your full-color 7-inch HD

There are no mirrors; you won’t need them with the rear camera powered by your full-color 7-inch HD electronic dash. The triple clamps are billet machined, a highly technical design that frankly looks as hot as what you’d find on many custom show bikes. The needle-stitching on the seat is gorgeous, and every piece of the body is carbon fiber, including the tank itself, which Norton claims is the first Kevlar-reinforced carbon tank on a production bike.

There is a full data logging system that records everything from lap times to lean angles and speeds to telemetry data from accelerometers. The ignition is keyless and shifting won’t bother your clutch fingers as there’s a standard quick release with automatic up/down.

If 200 and a bit of horse aren’t enough to tickle your proverbial bum, you can fit an all-titanium racing exhaust, which cuts weight by a massive 8kg and throws an extra 10bhp on top. Likewise, you can choose to fit the V4 RR with a set of carbon fiber BST wheels for better suspension and faster cornering thanks to reduced gyroscopic inertia.
